Charlie vs. Guile; Who do you think is better?

I am slowly but surely starting to become a bigger Charlie fan than I am Guile. Although I still think Guile is more useful as an assist character than Charlie with his wonderful priority anti-air, Charlie is proving to be more dangerous as a point character and I am loving how fast he is. His corner trapping with a strong assist backing him like Doom AA is a force to be reckoned with.

What are your thoughts on these two? Who do you feel is better and why?

first off, the should have given charlie an air super imo.
guile is just old school.
charlie definitely is a better overall character.
that moonsault slash is just too godlike.
it can be used for crossups, it can be used to set extended knockdown stun, which can then lead to a free otg.
guile dont have any of that shit....lol.
he has rookie air combos that end in throws.
oh, almost forgot.
using my vid for reference, if you get hit with charlie's sonic boom super, you can:
1) wave dash and do an air combo.
2) throw another sonic boom super, or any other super that he has to that matter.
3) tag in another character

Thanks for that info. I will put those tips into practice and let you know how things go. You are right, Guile is old-school and Charlie is the future. Not to say anything is wrong with old-school though.
